Psychologist, Counsellor and a Life Coach

Shanthi started her career in the Income-tax Department, Govt. of India, and later moved on to the Life Insurance Corporation of India. 


A marriage, a kid, and a lifetime later, she joined an NGO, Sparsha Trust, Bengaluru, as an Administrative Head.

Little did she know her work in the NGO would be the trigger for changing her entire career, from a banker to a psychologist!


She completed her MA - Psychology with IGNOU with distinction with the specialization in Counselling Psychology.  

During this time, she researched in the field of child psychology. Her area of interest was "Parental awareness on the usage of mobile phones by their children". She conducted the research by developing her own research tool to analyze the various uses of a mobile phone as a tool for communication, education, and entertainment and its effects on a child's life. 


She later presented her findings, to her credit, in the National Conference on Parenthood in the New Millennium organized by Dr. MGR Janaki College of Arts and Science for Women in January 2020. The gathering widely appreciated the novel nature of the analytic tool used by her.


Having gained work experience as an intern counseling psychologist in IGMC&RI, Puducherry, a government-run institution under the State Medical Health Program for a considerable period, she then pursued her Diploma in Life Coaching and Counselling with the CCS Academy, Chennai.


She has participated in the National Seminar on "Awareness for School Teachers about Psychological Disorders among School Children and Intervention Strategies," organized by the Government Institute of Mental Health, Department of Clinical Psychology, Kilpauk, Chennai.


Having worked for many years in various sectors, compounded exponentially by her own life-lessons, she has a keen understanding of the mental challenges faced in day-to-day life. 

She's also an ardent believer and practitioner of yoga, meditation, and Reiki


She firmly believes that "All is in the state of mind". This strong determination gave birth to Resolving Minds, with its motto being to Create Resolute Minds.
